The sixties were mostly a fraud. Even the most radically "liberal" movements fought ardently to safeguard the basis structures of society, especially when it came to sex. I've just finished reading a book called Good Sex Illustrated. It was written by a famous French author in the 70s. He goes through these 4 "extremely liberal" sex education manuals published at the time meant for kids from 10 - 18 (different books for different age divisions, you know how the human brain can be destroyed by being informed) and shows with stark clarity how these "extremely liberal" manuals are ridiculously sexist, and introduce a rigidly capitalist view of sexuality (ie, sexual energies are "invested" and if your "return" is pleasure, that is worthless and a waste, etc).

I think we're actually having a bit of a sexual revolution now. It's actually getting to the point where kids online nowadays have seen everything and understand different people have different tastes and that's fine. They realize pixels are pixels, fantasy are fantasy, and there should be no restriction of such things. While older, far, far dumber people storm around insisting that fiction is reality, that pixels infect brains like viruses, and that a lack of strict discipline in your fantasy life is a sign of perversion.
